last time I checked, the rock linux web site promised a distribution with
latest versions of official packages, not heavy patched-version, like
a certain crimson distribution.

Someone might see those wildcards in the dirlist file, and may think
that it is supported by Automake.

But the problem is mitigated by the fact that Alexandre said that he is
willing to accept the patch for Automake-1.10.

To sum up: yes, it seems OK to have your patch.
