Ooops, no.
Is there a compelling reason or just not really worked out the detailed
issues since all folks here actually *are* root on their boxes (which
holds at least for me)?
And BTW the diskspace is not infinite at that host - only 40GB in total,
so it's probably too small anyway.

Hmm, is cross-compiling an option (on a slower box but with a larger
disk)? Which config/target?
