Hi Stefan, thanks for your reply. I'll give the latest Subversion revision a try in the near future, but it won't happen in the next two weeks, probably, as I'm on the road during that time. I'll post the contents of the log files you kindly pointed me to, once the new build is complete, then. BTW, the path to the log files appears to be build/<build-id>/root//var/adm/logs/<stage>-<package>.err. SuSE 9.1 software versions: gcc 3.3.3 glibc 2.3.3 Regarding the error logs, I'd like to know if there is a better way to make them visible than posting them on the users mailing list. The logs are pretty big, and not everyone might be happy to find such large messages in their inboxes. Can I post compressed attachments on this list? I'd prefer something like .tgj (bzipped tar) or .tgz (GNU zipped tar).
