All -

   I have a Dell 2650 with a Dell 220s PowerVault attached and
have installed RedHat 7.2 for the OS.

Recently I transferred all of my home directories to this unit.

The system has been running great for approximately one month.

Then yesterday, these messages began to appear in /var/log/messages:

At 16:00, it was not possible to mount home directories and we attempted
a soft shutdown. The system hung at the sync command and it was necessary
to power it off.

We also power cycled the PV 220s and rebooted the 2650.

It has been up without errors since that time.

I am very concerned that we are in an unstable situation.

Any suggestions as to what we should attempt to resolve this problem?

Thanks in advance........
