Building aacraid for RH 7.3

Hi

I'm new to the list, and new to building kernels from source so please 
forgive any obvious ignorance.

I'm trying to build a aacraid driver for RH 7.3 and kernel-2.4.18-3. 
I've followed the instructions I got, but have run into a roadblock, 
and I hope I can get some suggestions.

I downloaded dkms from www.lerhaupt.com/dkms

and aacraid_dkms-1.1.4.2225-1.tar.gz  (and ...gz.asc) from 
domsch/linux/aacraid//dkms

ran
dkms ldtarball --archive=aacraid_dkms-1.1.4.2225-1.tar.gz

kernel-soure-2.4.18-3 is installed

i ran
dkms build -m aacraid -v 1.1.4.2225 -k 2.4.18-3

sucesfully, but my attempt to run
dkms build -m aacraid -v 1.1.4.2225 -k 2.4.18-3BOOT

failed with error

kernel source for 2.4.18-3BOOT is not installed.

I'm only aware of the basic kernel-source-2.4.18-3 RPM. Am I missing 
something or did I make a mistake.
