I have looked into the BIOS settings, and it looks like the failover drive was disabled :-/ I don't know how this has happened, but I have changed it to enabled and when I booted the server, it started rebuilding the array. I am a little unsure now if I should do a format/reinstall/restore or just let the array rebuild and use it as it is (remember that I had two drives that said they were degraded at one point - see above). I can afford to do this time wise and I have decent backups, but I don't wan't to if I don't need to.
