I am also having the scsi hang issue, though I'm not sure if it's pinpointed to aacraid issues or hardware. I saw a post about the seagate firmware update located here, http://www.seagate.com/support/disc/u320_firmware.html, and figured I would contact them about it. The 4 disks(3 raided together on a PERC320) in my Dell Precision all have the part number for that firmware update. But upon contacting Seagate, they told me that since these are oem drives, their firmware would destroy my drives, so I needed to contact the oem. After looking on Dell's site, I don't see any downloads for this firmware issue. What should I do then? Is there a better fix or patch for aacraid that will solve this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.... thanks, Jonathan Fine ***************************************************** Jonathan Fine Research Programmer/Tech Support (814)863-5787 [email protected] Astronomy and Astrophysics Dept.
