Dell has FW updates for HD too: "This firmware fixes the problem encountered when reassign commands issued to specific Seagate Hard Disk Drives (HDDs) thru PERC 3 (LSI) can fail with SCSI bus resets. Application and Array Manager logs will show reoccurring Sense Key (SK) = 03 and Additional Sense Code (ASC) =11.
