PERC 3/Si RAID5 rebuild

Hi -

I've replaced a failed drive, but the RAID5 array is still in a critical 
state.  What steps do I need to do to rebuild the array?

I'm using the afacli utility under Red Hat 9.0 on a Dell PowerEdge 2450. 
I've gone through the online docs and this archive and seen several 
similar cases, but nothing that would explain why it doesn't rebuild. I've 
had other Dell's rebuild the array automatically when the drive was 
replaced, so I'm a little stumped.
