RE: aacraid problems on PE2650 running 2.4.20

Is it always id4 that is showing in the error?  If the cli shows no problems
with drives with the 'container list' command (failed drives are either
missing or have exclamation mark next to scsi id) then try running a
'container scrub /no_repair=FALSE (container number)' and see if that fixes
the problems.  It will rescrub the parity and repair any bad sectors it
finds if there are any.

We've been experiencing problems with one of our PowerEdge 2650
servers. We use Debian 3.0 (latest stable set of packages + security
updates). The same problem has occurred with 2.4.18 and 2.4.20, and has
persisted even after a Dell engineer replaced the SCSI backplane and one
of the drives.

We see errors like this on the system console:

The machine usually operates fine for a period of days or weeks, then
errors like this start to build up until the machine finally locks up.

It's running a MySQL database and there's a large amount of disk access,
both read and write.

Does anyone have a solution to this? Does it seem like a problem with the
driver, the RAID card, the disk, or what?
