I'm afraid that didn't work for me.

I'm having trouble with this. I cannot, of course, update my CVS repository
in Linux because I don't have Internet access. This is however a dual-boot
box so - in Windows - I downloaded the CVS snapshot tarball and placed it in
the Windows partition which I can access from Linux. Back in Linux I copied
the tarball into a new directory (wireless2) and ran the instructions listed
on the CVS webpage but got this error on the last command...

[root@localhost wireless2]# cvs -d 'pwd'/CVS co at76c503a
rcmd: getaddrinfo: Temporary failure in name resolution
cvs [checkout aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if
any)
[root@localhost wireless2]#

Where do I go from here?
Could anyone send me a tarball with the relevant files in?
