I changed the whole notebook (Sony Vaio 505tr), and now it works great! It really seams to be a Toshiba usb related problem, because an other cheap USB RTL-8150 based NIC which didn't work on that Toshiba notebook (Toshiba Sattelite 460CDT) works great on the new one . So my problem is solved! Just wanted to say danke schön, keep on the good work and excellent support! --- greets Sander
