Whereas the released version is very stable on the 2.4 kernel and doesn't work at all on the 2.6 kernel. As such, you may want to consider whether using the other version is worthwhile or not... I'm using a Linksys WUSB11 v2.8 (atmel) on a Debian with the 2.4.27 kernel and the 0.11 released version.
