If you still talk about an USB 2.0 device with USB id 0x457/0x162, you most probably haven't got a device with an Atmel AT76C503/5 (which are true USB 1.1 devices), but a device with the SiS162 chipset, where drivers for 2.4.x kernels can be found on the web (althrough they are not open-source). Just checked the .inf file in the win98/me driver of the Sis162 chipset from http://driver.sis.com/network/wlan/wlan_162_r105.zip - it contains your USB id. Still interested in working for the Berlios project? /Jörg
