Sorry to bombard the list with messages but I have just had a little root around in my menuconfig... I did this - cd /usr/src/redhat/BUILD/kernel-2.6.10/linux-2.6.10 then make menuconfig and in the resulting dialogue when I looked the option "Wireless LAN drivers (non-hamradio) & Wireless Extensions was certainly asterisked as "built-in". Anything else I should look for? Mark
