Hi!

is there any restriction for use of user supplied MAC address for WLAN adapter?
I changed MAC address with ifconfig utility but no packets go out anymore.
Setting it back to default MAC address brings functionality back.

I've taken a look at function set_mac_address in at76c503.c but it
seems there isn't any restriction, but I'm not a coder for device
drivers. :)

Where may be the barrier?

Any suggestions?
