hi to the list!

i have a problem here with just compiled linux-2.6.20-rt5 on debian testing.

well, the kernel is 2.6.20, the rt patch comes from:

http://people.redhat.com/mingo/realtime-preempt/older/

with my last kernel 2.6.18 i also was using ingo molnars patches for =

realtime audio, everything was working fine.
for the network i am using here atmel-usb-addapter.

ok, the problem is, that the latest source-code (at76_usb-0.14beta1) =

does not compile:

nowhiskey@murija2:~/software/wlan/at76_usb-0.14beta1$ make
make -C /usr/src/linux-2.6.20

in /ust/include/linux, there is a config.h file.
the link to the /usr/src/linux is correct, showing at the =

/usr/src/linux-2.6.20/arch/i383/boot/bzImage sourcetree.

i tried already another solution, compiling the cvs-tarball =

(at76c503a-cvsroot.tar.gz), there compiling works good, but after =

starting the network, it works for short time, after that the console =

crashes showing:

i am using this script to access the network:

#!/bin/sh
    iwconfig wlan0 mode ad-hoc essid olsr.freifunk.net channel 10
    ifconfig wlan0 104.130.30.9
    ifconfig wlan0 up
    olsrd

it worked now good with other kernels.

on the boot the module gets loaded and the firmware =

(at76_usb-firmware-0.1) too, but after the crash, i am not even able to =

rmmod "at76_usb", i am only able to do a hard reset!

if you need more information on my system, please tell me that, but give =

me the instructions how i get the information out of my machine, =

because i am still a bloody noob and don=B4t know very much of =

linux-terminologies!

hope that someone can help me!
cheers,
doc
