Linksys WUSB11 2.8 and Kernel 2.6 = ???

Hello everyone,

I have a WUSB11 2.8 and kernel 2.6 (Slackware 9.1 with downloaded kernel 
sources). I compiled a preemptive kernel. Is it safe to use your driver 
with a preemptive 2.6 kernel? TIA,
