CnetWUSB611 - (vend/prod 0x1371/0x13)

I am trying to assist a newbie to get his CnetWUSB611 working with Mandrake 
9.2.

I saw the earlier thread on this list about Cnet611, but in this case the 
vendor/product code is 0x1371/0x13

Using the CVS version of the driver I see the at76c505-rfmd2958 version 
supports 0x1371/0x13, but when the device is inserted the log shows :-

usb.c: USB disconnect on device 00:1f.2-2, assigned address 2
hub.c: new USB device 00:1f.2-2, assigned address 3
at76c503-fw_skel.c: using compiled-in firmware
at76c503.c: Downloading external firmware failed: -22
usb.c: USB device 3 (vend/prod 0x1371/0x13) is not claimed by any active
driver.


I made sure the Mandrake supplied driver version had been removed to ensure it 
did not interfere.

Is it known for sure that the at76c505-rfmd2958 driver works with this device?
