Acc. to several posts by Atmel employees it's Atmel's policy to not include promiscous / monitor mode into the firmware (as it was their policy to suddenly drop firmware support for Intersil radio chipsets). What exactly is promiscous mode for you: receiving all data packets _after_ joining an (I)BSS _or_ receiving all packets on a certain channel, which may belong to several (I)BSS? /Jörg
