I downloaded the latest CVS snapshot as of today (March 24th) and built
the driver using the standard make / make install. No errors were
encountered during the built process. However, when I connect the nic to
my laptop I get the following output in my syslog:

Mar 24 16:04:39 yarou kernel: usb 2-1: new full speed USB device using
address 15
Mar 24 16:04:40 yarou modprobe: WARNING: Error inserting at76c503

Mar 24 16:04:40 yarou kernel: at76c505_rfmd2958: Unknown symbol

I checked dmesg and its only relevant output was as follows:

usb 2-1: new full speed USB device using address 15
at76c503: Unknown symbol iw_handler_set_spy
at76c503: Unknown symbol iw_handler_get_thrspy

at76c505_rfmd2958: Unknown symbol at76c503_delete_device
at76c505_rfmd2958: Unknown symbol at76c503_do_probe

My system is an iBook G4 running vanilla 2.6.4 sources (from kernel.org)
and Debian Sid. Any help would be appreciated
