I can't remember exactly what the deal was. Your best bet is to check the archives of this list. I believe it came down to verion # on the underside of the adapter. Mine (and probably yours) have a sticker saying ver. 100 whilst somebody else had a different version on the tag. The not playing nice was with BerliOS in general I believe. Once again, with my shoddy memory I can't remember if the later version actually worked or used a different chip, firmware, etc. HTH.
