Hi all, I've merged the 2.6.x source branch into the main trunk of the cvs. The future cvs snapshots should support 2.4.x and 2.6.0 with the same source files now. Only difference: with 2.6.0 you must be root even during compiling the sources. These combinations worked fine here with 2.4.23 and 2.6.0, both with UHCI host controller (uhci and usb-uhci with 2.4.23) and EHCI hc: - managed mode: Netgear MA101 (Intersil 3861) - Belkin AP, WEP104 - managed mode: SMC2662W (503+RFMD radio) - Belkin AP, WEP104 - ad-hoc mode: Netgear MA101 (prolonged scan times needed) - ELSA MC-11 (Orinoco chipset) - ad-hoc mode: SMC2662W - ELSA MC-11 A known bug with 2.4.23: unplugging the device during firmware download crashes the system with a kernel oops. I'm interested in your test results! Question to other developers: Has anyone got a nice replacement for the ugly procedure update_usb_intf_descr in at76c503.c for 2.6.0?? /Jörg -- Joerg Albert [email protected]
