Hello All,

Pleased to report that with much more googling and trying 
various drivers, I found one that works!

Just FWIW, it is the one from / at::

http://at76c503a.berlios.de/

I cvs'd it, made it, installed it. unplugged and replugged 
the 120a and was up and cooking!
