Devices with the AT76c503a come in four flavours with three different radio chipsets: - Intersil 3861 - Intersil 3863 - RMFD - RFMD in Accton design. Each one needs a different firmware. The Sourceforge driver dropped Intersil support in December 2002 (based on Atmel's company policy not to support these chipsets anymore :-(. The last cvs snapshot able to handle Intersil was 2002-12-09. With this the config script asks you which driver versions to build (incl. the 505RFMD).
