wait_for_cmd_done timeout!

I have bought a new computer and install Redhat 7.3
The computer is used as a web server and connected to
other computer using a switch.
However the computer is unstable. After several
minutes, it displays like the following:
eepro100 wait_for_cmd_done timeout!
Sometimes, the computer would halt.
It would happen immediately when I use samba to get
a large file(about 20Mb) from linux to window.
The computer is Intel Pentium4 processor 2.0GHz,
Intel 10/100M LAN,256MB RDRAM.
Please help. Thank you.
