ahem, yes not a very recent driver.. it's the one that comes in the
debian kernel package for kernel ver. 2.4.20.  I'll try compiling a
newer driver and tell you how it went.

!  if that is the case, can I do something about it myself or should I
just take it back and ask them to reprogram it?
