Hi all, with a little help of Matthew X. Economou (thanks again Matthew !), the problem has been solved .. I just didn't know that the interface had to be down before I could change the mac address. ifconfig hw ether 0:a0:8e:18:ca:a8 now works, so the system is fully functional now. Driver loads without problems , but I cannot specify the macaddress (default macaddress of all nics is FF:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF) When I try to specify the correct address with ifconfig , the driver returns an error : "SIOCSIFHWADDR: Device or resource busy" Anybody who did get this working or who can help me out on this one ?
