Re: communication freeze after send sms

hi. if you look carefully at this mailing list you will find same problem
that you describe.
look about characters on bash:
' apostrofe or single quote
" double quote
` acent acute  in portuguese we say crase
´ acent acute in portuguese we say grave

when you use a bash script some of these are special meaning like used on
mysql database, like used on rst files used for documents.

try manualy send a sms using a terminal (prefer using utf8 encode or latin1
encode)

using gammu manual or examples from this mailinglist.

use your nokia with gammu.
