but i understand you already go to step that send sms, and i tell that this
example that is on gammu manual is not good to explain what is going on.
why?
because we need step by step to understand things lets go avanti!

put on gammu command explicit place where you want write your log file,
what name and extension you want for your logfile, what type log you want
and what level (1 to 255 (255 is very details)), so my advice for teste
your sms:

gammu -c /path/your-config-gammurc -d textall -f
/path/your-log-file-for-sms.log sendsms TEXT number-destination
'your-message-delimited-by-apost'
