I loaded the hpusbscsi kernel module like Bayard Coolidge suggested and still
nothing. I am not sure exactly what the problem is, but I really need to be
able to print. I was looking through the error_log as I am trying to print
and I noticed a couple lines that I thought looked curious.

I don't know if the "deskjet 3600" is just a generic Device to specify, but my
printer is not a deskjet 3600. I appreciate any help with trying to get this
fixed.

Thanks,

David
