Ok, this is kind of wierd maybe, but just for giggles I setup the printer using the PSC 1205 hpijs driver instead of the PSC 1300 driver. And now it works. I can access the card reader just fine, but I could do that before. I have not tried scanning yet either. So I guess unless this setup starts not working for some reason I'm just going to use the wrong driver. Thanks, David -- If it smells it's chemistry, if it crawls it's biology, if it doesn't work it's physics. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: Sybase ASE Linux Express Edition - download now for FREE LinuxWorld Reader's Choice Award Winner for best database on Linux. http://ads.osdn.com/?ad_id=5588&alloc_id=12065&op=click
