Re: hplip-0.8.2

Since installing hplip-0.8.2, /var/log/cups/error_log has been continually 
busy, logging the following four lines every five seconds.  My toolbox is 
inoperative, but I can print text and scan.  

D [18/Dec/2004:10:48:09 -0600] AcceptClient() 3 from localhost:631.
D [18/Dec/2004:10:48:09 -0600] ReadClient() 3 POST / HTTP/1.1
D [18/Dec/2004:10:48:09 -0600] ProcessIPPRequest: 3 status_code=1
D [18/Dec/2004:10:48:09 -0600] CloseClient() 3

How can I stop this unnecessary logging without losing capability to print?
