Hi, all HP users !

I have some trouble with a HP PSC 2410.

I use Mandrake 10.1 + KDE 3.3 + OOo 1.1.3 + CUPS.

I used latest versions of HPOJ, then I tried HPLIP.

When I try to print a page like this one in landscape mode, I always miss a
few mm on the left side (using A4 format) :

When I want to print it in portrait mode, it is OK.

When I use KDE's virtual PDF printer, it is OK. But if I want to print my PDF,
it is bad again.

The same problem occurs with OOo (but the print preview is OK).

The Mandrake CUPS test page looks correct : there is a big frame next to the
edges of the sheet, but le lower side of the frame is a bit far from the
bottom edge (a few cm).

I tried to lower the margins, but the only result is the text looks bigger.
And still the same problem : the latest part of the text to get out of the
printer is missing.

Looks like the systems has a bad knowledge of the actual size of the sheets.

Any idea about the reasons and the solution of the problem ?

Other problem (not important for the moment) : the new graphical frontend to
the printer crashes when launching, in spite of compiling nicely. The error
message says there is a problem with QT.

Many thanks

Gerard
