I have a HP PSC 2410 installed. Printing works great, using cups. But
scanning doesn't work at all. The device is not being recognized by
xsane. HP-device-manager does find the printer, hence I do have acces to
hp-toolbox.
For printing hpijs-driver is being used.
Notes on www.linuxprinting.org are stating that scanning works great
with HPOJ. But when I follow the link to http://hpoj.sourceforge.net/ it
says that "For all USB and network connected HP devices use HPLIP
instead of HPOJ". And "HPOJ should only be used for parallel cennected
HP devices. HPOJ and HPLIP can co-exist on the same pc, but they cannot
acces the same device". So I installed HPLIP.
How can I get scanning to work?
Peter.
