hi,
my ipw2200 worked nice for 12months... in _all_ modes.
but since i reinstalled my complete system the monitor mode is refusing
to work.

the managed mode works nicely but when i place the card via "iwconfig
eth1 mode monitor" into the monitor mode, "ifconfing eth1" shows a
strange hw-address and protocol:

"Protokoll:UNSPEC Hardware Adresse
00-0E-35-3D-FA-DF-00-00-00-00-00-00-00" (the "true" hw-adress is:
"00:0E:35:3D:FA:DF"

the dmesg-output produced by "modprobe ipw2200" shows a strange
PCI-interrupt (see below). does that mean that the card is broken!?
(remember: in managed-mode it's still working)

i'd be happy about any kind of help

thanks

simon

ps.: i tried all versions of the module from 1.1.0 to 1.1.4, but that
made no difference
