Actually, that's too bad. There should be some formal testing to make
sure that the code at least *compiles* and *loads* and *captures*.

It looks to me (as a Wireshark developer and user) that these features
seem to work fine, once you have gone through the build process,
especially since it seems to change from time to time.

How about turning on CONFIG_IPW2200_MONITOR, CONFIG_IPW2200_RADIOTAP,
CONFIG_IPW2200_PROMISCUOUS by default in the official build? So if there
are some hidden problems they can be found and eliminated early before
the next .0 version? If it turns out to create problems that are getting
over your head you may disable the stuff again, but as a user who has
been using radiotap first with 2100, then with 2200 and now with 3945
I must admit that I haven't noticed any real problems once I managed to
build and load the modules.

How about that approach?
