Hi, I have some problems with the ipw2200 driver and a 2915ABG card. When the card it associated to an access point and then initiating a scan, it always fails (passive and active scans). I enabled debug and saw that the driver aborts the scanning. ipw2200: U ipw_wx_set_scan Start scan ipw2200: I ipw_handle_missed_beacon Aborting scan with missed beacon. I remember that I could scan while having been associated to an access point with some earlier kernels. I don't know what changed. Can someone enlighten me. I am currently using a plain vanilla 2.6.24-rc6 kernel. Even in case the scan request is aborted, I think we have to send a "Scan request completed" wireless event. Otherwise the userspace will never know what happened. Maybe we need to extend this event with some flags that indicate that the scanning failed.
