yes, I enabled wmm in AP.

Interesting that everything worked before. The thing was that I tried
a different wireless card and installed madwifi driver. After that I
returned everything back what is required for ipw2200. I removed
ieee80211 (v. git-1.1.13), which was installed during madwifi
installation, and then installed ieee80211 v.1.2.18. But, something
was changed and QoS doesn't work any more. I've already tried
reinstalling everything again (ieee80211, ipw2200) several times, but
it didn't help. I don't know what madwifi could do to the system that
Intel card forgot what QoS is :)

So, I believe, everything should be fine with AP... thanks for any other tips.
