Thank you for a hint. I was interested in how severe is this problem. After this problem madwifi still works, but "iwlist ath0 scanning" stops working. ---- Unfortuantelly I cannot use "madwifi trunk" because it is simply crashing approximatelly 3 times per day. I have tested this on 2 different computers. I am sure that this problem could be reproducible. You gave me a hint to scrutinize callibration. But unfortunatelly I was unable to find any correspondency between autocalibration period and wifi crash. I did not test latest trunk so it could be alteady fixed.
