Hi, the issue with the '/dev/modem' device removal after a reboot on Mandrakelinux 10.1 was fixed in a recent version of the HSF driver. We have improved 'udev' support which fixed the problem. For this new problem, we will need a complete 'dumpdiag' in order to tell you the exact source of the problem since there are many possible causes for this problem. Could you send at [email protected] the output of 'dumpdiag' please? Type the following in a root shell: --- hsfconfig --dumpdiag --- Just send us the generated file located in /tmp ('hsfdiag.txt'). It'll help us solve the problem.
