Is my modem supported?

Hi
I have a Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop, and I have a ``Conexant D110 MDC
v.9x'' modem installed on it. I can not install ubuntu .deb packages
because of an error in installation. I want to know whether my modem
is supported. I could not find my modem on any appropriate list on the
web.
