My computer is running SUSE Linux 10.1 for x86_64. The modem is the SIS AC-Link Controller # PCI ID 1039:7013. I downloaded hsfmodem-7.47.00.05x86_64full-1.x86_64.rpm.zip and the rpm installed fine. lspci shows my modem. lsmod shows the hsf modules as loaded. /dev/modem is a symbolic link pointing to /dev/ttySHSF0. My terminal program reports that it cannot find the modem even if I explicitly set the port to /dev/modem or /dev/ttySHSF0. Do you have any suggestions for getting the modem to work? Thank you for your help.
