Hi, you need to identify the exact source of the problem before trying to find an appropriate fix. When it doesn't work and before you replug the modem, are you able to see your modem in the output of the 'lsusb' command in a root shell? If you can see the modem, if you use the 'hsfconfig --info' command, does it solve the problem instead of replugging the device?
