Hi I installed Ubuntu 7.04 i386 on my spare partition, and installed nothing but a kernel upgrade from 2.6.20-15 to 2.6.20-26 (plus headers) and the linuxant driver - had absolutely no problems. Just to make sure it wasn't something to do with the way I've set up my system, I then wiped that and installed 7.04 amd64 on the spare partition, same as my main linux partition, and followed the same procedure as above. It appears it is a x86_64 problem, as I experienced exactly the same crashes as a I have been having. What happens now? Would it be possible to notify your code maintainers of a bug report concerning the 64 bit driver?
