Ubuntu Hardy 64

I've been waiting for Hardy to get run my HSF modem in a Dell Vostro,
because a sound problem but neither works with Hardy. I use the
hsfmodem-7.68.00.09x86_64oem.tar.gz (and 'full' version also) driver and
gives me some  "unknow symbols in snd_hda .." , and breaks sound.

I try installing previously the alsa-driver-linuxant_1.0.16.1-1_all.deb, and
no errors in syslog, but no sound.
