which cardbus card should I get?

yes, I know.  look at the supported cards page.  unfortunately I did
that and bought the Netgear WG511 only to find out that because it's a
"made in china" card, it won't work.

what do people recommend that's available in stores? 

How is the 3com OfficeConnect 11g card?

how about the D-Link Air Plus Xtreme G?  Do the other version besides A1 work?

How is the SMC2835W?
