Hello, to whoever may be out there

I have an old logitech QuickCam Express that I'd love to get working, and I
found this driver; unfortunately
>
> # make install

fails with the following error, and i'm not entirely sure what I can do
about it or if this driver will even work.

> make[1]: Leaving directory '/usr/src/linux-5.4.60-gentoo'
> /usr/bin/install -c -D -m 644 quickcam.ko
> /lib/modules/5.4.60-gentoo/misc/quickcam.ko
> /usr/bin/install: cannot stat 'quickcam.ko': No such file or directory

 I wish I could provide more useful information but I cannot seem to find
anything useful in the build output:
