All of the NE2000 card I know of are PCMCIA 16 bit (ISA-like) cards.
That means no bus-mastering and slow timing, thus much simpler
operation.

There could be a CardBus NE2000 out there, but I doubt it.  I usually
get complaints about driver support the day after a new device is
available.
