Got it fixed! Ignore my last.

Seemed to be a simple mismatch of PCI id's. My Linksys has manufacturer
id 1737, device ab08. I noticed in tulip.c
That there is a linksys with device id ab08, but with major id 13d1 (on
line 412). By simply changing 13d1 to 1737 and recompiling, it now works
like a dream!
